Carspotting: Greece edition-- Citroen, Citroen, Mitsubishi, Opel, Toyota

We now move from Athens to Delphi.

Citroen C1 (Very cool looking subcompact.):

Citroen Xantia:

Mitsubishi L300 panel van (Very utilitarian.):

Opel Kadett (One of my favorites out of the bunch.):

Toyota Corolla (Again, different from the American version.):

Very ordinary cars in Greece today.

The Mitsubishi van is intriguing. While I assume the Epsilon is some badge from a local dealer or importer, Mitsubishi back then used greek letters to name some of their cars, like the Galant Sigma and Galant Lambda (the latter being known as Mitsubishi Sapporo in most markets).

So nice coincidence there.

They still produce the L300 here in Indonesia.

@Byaryoga: Wow, that's an old van. What other cars are produced in Indonesia? Are there any domestic manufacturers? Are Protons sold there?

The Suzuki APV sold in Chile is made in Indonesia.

Interestingly, the following generation to that Mitsubishi is still in production... in Japan!

AFAIK, there are Suzuki APV, Toyota Avanza/Daihatsu Xenia, Daihatsu GranMax, Toyota Innova. Proton does sold here. Unfortunately, though must of Japan manufacturer decide to build production plant here, or at least assembly plant, we still don't have any domestic manufacturer.
