Carspotting: Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet convertible

Oh look, an iconoclast was brave enough to buy the controversial-looking Murano convertible.  Oh wait, that's a dealer plate.  Never mind.

I'd be surprised if anyone bought one of those. It reminds me of a bloated Suzuki X-90 with leather seats, with an equally anemic and underpowered engine when you factor in the heft of the Nissan.

Nissan seems to be heading downhill with their SUVs. Hopefully they'll start to turn that around.

The most pointless new car I can think of.

The Murano's looks may be a bit polarizing; most hate it or love it. However, it does sell even though it may not be a best seller. Some buyers want a car that is "unique" and in that aspect the Murano delivers.
