West Coast road trip time lapse video

Our very own F1Outsider did this 2,000 mile Los Angeles to Seattle road trip recently.  It is incredible.  Enjoy.

@F1O: What highway(s) did you take once you crossed the Oregon border?

Also, I don't think I've ever passed someone on a double yellow on PCH, ever.

We stayed on US 101 and headed up the coast until Newport. From there we took US 20 over to I-5 and headed to Portland.

I wasn't driving too fast on PCH (wife has different opinion). Some cars go waaaay too slow on that highway. There was one car I would pass, then we'd stop at some point to take pics and take in the scenery. Then get back on the road and pass the same car again. We did this about 4, 5 times.

Nice, nice, nice...would love to know what music is in the video, and what car you used.

You gotta a fan in South Spain. I have a pipedream to cross US by road one day. I am more into bikes, but a car for sure is more pratical.

@Dominic: I think F1O drove a Mustang convertible.

If you go to his Youtube page, it might show the names of the songs.

Edvin the Finn will be doing the trip in reverse next month. He'll be sending pictures and stories to this blog.

@Domnic the songs are as follows:

Intro by The XX
Trigger Happy by Jackson United
When I'm Small by Phantogram
Punk Rocker by The Teddybears

Ooh, how did I miss this.. Great video and good songs too, F1O! I too plan on making a video of the trip, but not a time lapse. You'll have to wait a while for that.
